Magic Fingers

I was making these fingerless gloves just to practice the Magic Loop. Finished the one. Started the second. Told myself, "Yeah, yeah I get it. Front, back, pull needle. Got it." The magic of the Magic Loop wore off.

But, pulled them out and finished them today since they'd be perfect for my stepdaughter. She works in a freezing office and has complained that her hands get cold and she's having a birthday.

Suddenly, like magic, I have a gift!

Resistance is Futile

It wasn't a good knitting week around here. Nothing made me happy.

Worked on the Magic Loop fingerless gloves. My fingers were busy, but my heart wasn't in it.

I kept thinking about blue lace. However I really wanted to finish the easy-peasy gloves before giving this serious thought.

Yeah, I'm weak. I gave in. Yesterday.

Pattern is Falling Water Lace Scarf. The yarn is Sundara's sock yarn.
