Always on my Mind

I'm feverish and achy and coughing. It's just a cold---WebMD assures me that this isn't swine flu.

Knitting? Nope. It takes too much energy to move the needles.

However, that doesn't mean that knitting isn't on my mind. Downloaded a new knitting mystery.

I've only read 7% of the book (I love, love, love how Kindle tells us how much of the book we've read.)--but, so far, it's perfect for this feverish knitter.

sorry you're sick.....do you love your Kindle? Which one do you have? I adore mine. I can't even explain how much I love it.

Well that percentage read is a tempting feature. But then when I think of it, very necessary since you don't have a physical presence in front of you; a thickness to gauge at a glance. Interesting.

Take it easy and feel better soon.
Oh, and drink plenty of fluids.

Hope you feel better soon. I am hooked on audiobooks. Nice to have a knitting story when you can't actually knit. Fluids do help so much, even though getting up to use the bathroom adds to the pain when sick. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

I'm so sorry you're sick! I've been so out of it all week that I had no idea you were sick too.
I love listening to books on my iPod and I like how I can see how much time I have left. Technology is amazing.
Did you say what you are listening to?

Hope you feel better. I remember having a shawl chart that tracked the total number of stithes and percentage done. I found it encouraging.

Sorry to hear that you're sick especially before the long weekend. That said, I'm jealous of the kindle...But as you can guess I'd rather be knitting
