Winter Weary

I'm ready to say so long to

grimy snow,

winter socks,

wooly scarves

and pom pom hats.

Flowers, not snow and sneakers, should be blooming around trees.

And at outdoor cafes, we should be sippng iced teas.

Snow on steps

and a slide---

Adieu, farewell, good-bye!

Me, three. And yet, a cold snap this weekend, with another dusting. At least there are some days in the mid 40's in between the frosty ones now. And the days are longer, too.

It's coming.

Our one little snow didn't hang around long enough for me to get tired of it! I'm going to the oddball here and say I'm not yet ready for spring. Spring here usually lasts about 4 days and is followed by a long, long summer.

Looking at the piles of snow gave me a chill. I hope your weather warms up soon. Your socks are cute. Did you knit all those pairs?

Doesn't look like global warming to me. Maybe here in Vancouver, though.

And they're predicting more this week! Ugh!

Left beautiful New York Saturday and thought I left the snow also. Nope. Here in Michigan snow is falling falling falling. Suppose to keep on falling until Thursday. Today is only Monday.
At least in New York I had my grand baby to help me build snow men.
