Spring in the Air
We're expecting snow over the next two days--but I plan to keep looking at this photo. I took it yesterday from a bus window and it's not great. If you click on it, the photo will become larger and you'll see that the sign says, "40 days until Opening Day."

I seem to recall being a die-hard Yankee fan as a child. Wish I still had all those baseball cards now....

oh, Mary, that made me laugh. Yes, I am looking forward to opening day, too!
I have begun to have a nicer attitude about the Yankees only because of you. :)

Being married to a rabid Yankee fan, I can completely relate...when i told him I had heard that spring training had started you should have seen his eyes light up! Our little 4 month old girl already has her first 2 Yankee outfits, it's in the blood!
I know that cheered you up when you glanced out the window and saw the happy countdown. Won't be long!
