"I worked, I knitted"

A wonderful story coming from the area of Italy where the earthquake struck. A 98 year old woman waited to be rescued from under the rubble by knitting for thirty hours!

And I think I exhibit patience when I'm waiting all of 15 minutes at the dentist's office by pulling out my needles!

so funny. I sent a link to my family and friends who take great joy in teasing me about my knitting.

I wonder if she had her knitting next to her bed or how she got to it. It's a great story.

I was sorry to hear about Barney. It is so tough to lose our companions.

Holy cow! To have the presence of mind to even do that!
