Another Good-bye

I'm very sad to report that we had to put our Kippy cat to sleep today. She had chronic renal failure and for the past ten days, she'd been getting weaker and weaker.

She had a good, long life--18 years-- with lots of love given and received. Last year, I wrote an entry about Kip's specialness.

Kip, sweet girl, I know you're now in a place full of comfy pillows

and pink tissue.

And that you're playing with toys

and sitting on knitting.

There's plenty of sun on your face now.

And Barney has found you.

Oh I'm so sorry - I still miss my Cocoa and it has been years - they are such a wonderful part of our family and we are blessed by their presence and grieve after their loss.

Oh, Mary. I am so sorry for you and myself. I, too, have an old kitty girl who has some renal issues. She is still holding her own but I know we are working through her last months. They certainly carve out special places in our hearts.

Kitty heaven is full of special ones. Sending warm thoughts.

I remembered the story of how Kippy came to you, but went back and read again. Wasn't she lucky. 18 years of love. So sorry. It is so hard to lose our loved pets.
